About prg.ai
prg.ai is a non-profit initiative established in 2019 by prominent Czech academic institutions, including the Czech Technical University, Charles University, and the Czech Academy of Sciences, along with the City of Prague. Its mission is to develop Prague into a key European AI hub by fostering collaboration among academia, industry, and government.
The organization operates through three main pillars: talent development, community building, and innovation. prg.ai runs various programs focused on education, such as the prg.ai Minor and the national management of the Elements of AI online course. It also co-organizes significant events like Dny AI, the largest AI festival in Czechia, and the AI Awards. By connecting over 40 industry members with talent and resources, prg.ai supports the growth of the AI ecosystem in Prague, while conducting research to map the local AI landscape and promote Czech AI achievements on an international scale.
