Kagi is a paid, ad-free search engine developed by Kagi Inc., based in Palo Alto, California. Founded in May 2018 by Vladimir Prelovac, Kagi was bootstrapped for its first four years and became incorporated in March 2022. The company quickly gained a substantial user base, reaching thousands of paying customers shortly after entering public beta.

Kagi functions as a metasearch engine, aggregating results from various established search engines while maintaining its own indexes. It features a unique web crawler, Teclis, which focuses on indexing personal blogs and lesser-known websites. Key offerings include result aggregation with a custom ranking algorithm, an AI quick response feature for summarizing queries, a customizable user interface, and "bangs" shortcuts for redirecting searches. Kagi also develops the Orion Browser, which supports extensions on iOS devices. The company operates on a subscription model with three pricing tiers, providing users with a range of search options.
